In a nightmarish, alternate version of the mid-18^th century, Cole Blaquesmith awakens to find Victorian London ruled by the dictator, Doctor Absinthe, and his own body corrupted by a coal-powered furnace. Far from home and reluctant to fall in step, Cole becomes a reluctant freedom fighter who leads a rebellion against Europe’s despot in a quest to set the world right and reunite with the woman he loves… left 100 years in the past.
